We loved the accommodating staff and spotless rooms. the hot water was excellent, and the towels were changed daily. Bolivar, the owner, was incredibly sweet and even gave us a ride into town. the location was perfect - close to the thermal baths and just a short walk to the center of town.
We felt really welcomed and had no complaints at all.

I had a fantastic stay at Hostal Monte Carmelo in Banos. We were a family of three staying for one night and almost two days. The staff were incredibly helpful, organizing our trips and dropping us off at the bus. Our room was super clean, with fresh sheets and towels provided. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The location was quiet and within walking distance of downtown Banos. The view of the mountains was stunning and the facilities were well-maintained.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Amazing value for money and excellent service! . Super friendly hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Tucked away in a quieter part of town, perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Spacious room with a nice mountain view and a cute hammock on the balcony. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Secure parking on site. English-speaking host made communication easy. a super relaxing experience that enhanced our time in the city.
Water pressure could have been better, although it was still manageable. . Location is a 15-minute walk from the city center, which may not be convenient for those wanting to stroll around.

I had a fantastic stay at Hostal Monte Carmelo. The family-run hostel provided excellent service and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Bolivar, the owner, gave us a personalized tour of the city in his own car, showing us all the best restaurants, bars, markets, and attractions. He even volunteered to drive us to our massage reservation at Luna Spa. The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown, with its amazing restaurants and cafes. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast and fresh juices are delicious. I highly recommend Hostal Monte Carmelo for a memorable stay in Baños.
Nothing to mention 😊

I had the most incredible stay at a charming and lovely hotel in the heart of a beautiful city. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a valued guest in a luxury home. The owner and manager, Marcela and Mario, were the kindest and most genuine hosts I've ever encountered. The grounds of the hotel were simply breathtaking, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious and satisfying, setting me up for a day of exploration. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the bustling city center. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough as the perfect complement to the stunning surroundings of this incredible city. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for an unforgettable experience.
